(windrose.codex-wiki.com, kingsroad.codex-wiki.com, collectively
the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What Codex Wiki is
Codex Wiki is a non-commercial fan project. Each wiki on the Site is an independently crafted reference for a specific video game. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any game developer, publisher, or rights holder. All trademarks, logos, character names, item names, lore, artwork, and other game-related content remain the property of their respective owners.
Specifically: Windrose content rights belong to the Windrose publisher; Kingsroad and Game of Thrones® are properties of Netmarble and Home Box Office, Inc. respectively. Our use of these names and assets is for descriptive, educational, and informational purposes only.
3. Permitted use
You may:
- Read, search, and reference any wiki content for personal, non-commercial use.
- Link to pages on the Site from other websites, blogs, videos, or social posts.
- Quote short passages with attribution to
codex-wiki.com(or the relevant subdomain).
You may not:
- Scrape the Site at a rate that disrupts normal service, or republish substantial portions in bulk without permission.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, security, or hosting infrastructure.
- Misrepresent your relationship to Codex Wiki, or claim the Site is an official source for any game.
4. Content accuracy
Wiki content is compiled from publicly available game data and player observation. We make reasonable efforts to be accurate and up to date, but the Site is provided "as is" and we make no warranty that information is complete, current, or error-free. Game patches, balance changes, and content updates can make any specific data point obsolete without notice.
Build guides, tier lists, and editorial pages reflect the opinions of the authors, not the developers of the games. Always cross-reference with the in-game state before making competitive or financial decisions.
5. Intellectual property of the Site
The original prose, layout, code, design system, and editorial decisions of Codex Wiki are produced by the operator. The Site's source code, where published on GitHub, is available under the licence specified in its repository. Game data, names, and visual assets shown on the Site remain the property of the respective rights holders and are not licensed under our terms.
6. Takedown requests
If you are a rights holder and believe content on the Site infringes your rights, please email codexwikiweb@gmail.com with:
- A description of the work claimed to be infringed.
- The specific URL(s) on the Site where the content appears.
